Lech Zürs am Arlberg is recognised as one of the pioneers of winter sports. It has been one of the top winter sports destinations in the Alps for over 100 years. Whether beginner, advanced or top-ranking athlete: Deep powder snow slopes, blue, red and black runs and nursery slopes offer optimal conditions for every level and taste – and the guarantee of snow from November to April. The Ski schools with around 800 professional snowsport instructors organise courses for winter sports novices as well as kings of the pistes. Snowboard aficionados have access to all lifts and cable cars in Lech Zürs, as well as neighbouring resorts, with the Ski Arlberg card.
Thanks to the new Flexenbahn cable way and the newly constructed Trittkopfbahnen I and II, and Albonabahn II, all ski resorts on the Arlberg can be reached on skis. And there is more: with a total of 305 contiguous downhill skiing kilometres and 87 state-of-the-art lifts and cable ways, Ski Arlberg is the largest contiguous skiing area in Austria and hence one of the world’s five largest skiing resorts.
Sun terraces invite skiers to enjoy a spot of après-ski, and indulge in a variety of other activities such as ice skating, curling, ice-carting, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking and sleigh rides, all of which are guaranteed to make the winter holiday an experience for the whole family.
